After playing a whirlwind of shows across the U.S. while laying low release-wise for most of 2010, we are excited to announce Freddy Todd’s highly anticipated first full length LP, Neon Spectacle Operator. With too many elements to try and list- glitch/dub/psychadelic to name a few- Freddy’s music is best described in more relative terms. Layering gruesomely heavy bass, extra-terrestrial synths, and crunktastic rhythms laced with a hint of Detroit hip-hop, this laser soaked collection of facemelters is truly music to be abducted to… that is if your abductors were beaming you up to an intergalactic dance party.
This album contains two discs, with about 28 original tracks, the creation of which spans over one year, right up until 2011. A number of super-talented artists are featured on the album, in a cross-continetnal collaboration from the Bay to Detroit, including Black Mic, ill-esha, Joe Mousepad, Lila Rose, Augusta Morrison, Elfkowitz, Unc and Athena Koumis.
